World Famous Chef's Award-Winning Pan-Fried Beef with Kale, Artichoke, and Beets



Ingredients


- 1 pound of beef
- 4 cups of kale, roughly chopped
- 2 artichokes, trimmed and quartered
- 2 beets, peeled and diced

Instructions


1. Start by seasoning the beef with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a large pan, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat.
3. Once the oil is hot, add the beef and sear it for about 4 minutes on each side, or until nicely browned.
4. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside to rest.
5. In the same pan, add the kale and sauté it until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
6. Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the artichoke quarters for about 5 minutes, or until tender.
7. Drain the artichokes and set them aside.
8. In a separate pan, heat some olive oil and sauté the diced beets until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
9. Slice the beef into thin strips against the grain.
10. Arrange the kale, artichokes, beets, and beef on serving plates.
11. Serve hot and enjoy!
