Ingredients


- 8 ounces of spaghetti
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 2 cups of tomato sauce
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- ¼ cup of fresh basil, chopped
- ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions


1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes.
5. Pour in the tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.
7. Sprinkle the fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese over the top. Stir everything together until the cheese is melted and the basil is evenly distributed.
