Ingredients:
- 2 NY strip steaks
- 4 medium-sized potatoes
- 1 lb green beans
- 1 large onion
- 8 strips of bacon
- 1 lb turkey breast
- 1 cup salsa
Instructions:
- Preheat your Kamado Joe grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Smashed Potatoes:
- Wash and scrub the potatoes, leaving the skin on.
- Place the potatoes in a large pot of salted water and boil until tender, approximately 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly.
- Using a fork or a potato masher, gently smash each potato to flatten it without breaking it apart completely.
- Prepare the Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans:
- Blanch the green beans in boiling water for about 2 minutes, then transfer them to an ice bath to cool down quickly.
- Divide the green beans into bundles, wrapping each bundle with a strip of bacon.
- Prepare the Onion-Turkey Salsa:
- Dice the onion and turkey breast into small, uniform pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced onion, turkey, and salsa. Mix well to incorporate all the flavors.
- Cooking the NY Strip Steaks:
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the steaks on the preheated grill and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness.
- Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Cooking the Smashed Potatoes and Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans:
- Place the smashed potatoes and bacon-wrapped green beans on the grill grates.
- Cook the potatoes for approximately 5 minutes on each side, until they develop a crispy crust.

2. Prepare the Smashed Potatoes:
- Wash and scrub the potatoes, leaving the skin on.
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, approximately 15-20 minutes.
- Drain and let them cool slightly, then gently smash each potato.
3. Prepare the Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans:
- Blanch the green beans for 2 minutes, then cool in an ice bath.
- Wrap bundles of green beans with bacon.
4. Prepare the Onion-Turkey Salsa:
- Dice the onion and turkey breast into small pieces.
- Mix the diced onion, turkey, and salsa in a bowl.
5. Cooking the NY Strip Steaks:
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper, then grill for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Let the steaks rest before slicing.
