Decadent Dutch Gouda & Beef Stuffed Bell Peppers with Tomato Garlic Sauce



Ingredients



  • 1 lb Hamburger Meat

  • 4 large Bell Peppers

  • 2 large Onions

  • 4 cloves Garlic

  • 4 large Tomatoes

  • 1 cup Gouda Cheese, shredded

  • 2 cups Shell Noodles



Instructions



  1. Begin by sautéing finely chopped onions and minced garlic in a large pan over medium heat until golden brown.

  2. Add the hamburger meat to the pan and cook thoroughly. Drain and set aside.

  3. Boil shell noodles until al dente in a pot of salted water, drain, and set aside.

  4. Prepare your sauce by pureeing tomatoes in a blender or food processor, then add to the pan with a quarter of the sautéed onions and garlic. Simmer the mixture for about 15 minutes.

  5. Stuff each bell pepper evenly with the mixture of meat, the remainder of the sautéed onions and garlic, cooked shell noodles, and shredded Gouda cheese.

  6. Place stuffed bell peppers in a baking dish. Pour the prepared sauce over the stuffed peppers and sprinkle with remaining Gouda cheese.

  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
