Breakfast Crêpes with Bacon and Sausage



Ingredients:



  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 eggs

  • 4 slices of bacon

  • 4 sausages



Instructions:



  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, water, salt, baking powder, and eggs.

  2. Whisk the ingredients together until a smooth and thin batter is formed.

  3. Place a non-stick frying pan or crêpe pan on the stove over medium-high heat.

  4. Add a slice of bacon and a sausage to the pan, and cook them until they are crispy and well browned. Remove them from the pan and set aside.

  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and lightly grease the pan with a small amount of cooking oil or bacon fat.

  6. Using a ladle or measuring cup, pour 1/4 cup of the crêpe batter into the pan and swirl the pan to spread the batter evenly.

  8. Using a spatula, flip the crêpe over and cook for an additional 1 minute.

  9. Transfer the cooked crêpe to a plate and cover it with a clean kitchen towel to keep it warm.

  10. Repeat Steps 6-9 with the remaining batter, ensuring you grease the pan lightly before each new crêpe.

  11. Once all the crêpes are cooked, place a slice of cooked bacon and a cooked sausage in the center of each crêpe.
