"Succulent Bacon Laced Sour Cream Pancakes"
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups of water
2 large eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon baking powder
8 slices thick cut bacon
Instructions
1. Start by frying your slices of bacon in a pan over medium heat until crispy. Once cooked, place them on a paper towel to absorb excess fats and let cool, then chop into small bits.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
3. In a different bowl, whisk together water, eggs, sour cream, and milk until well blended.
4. Gradually stir the wet mixture into the flour mix until it forms a smooth batter. Add the bacon bits into the batter and stir until they're evenly distributed.
5. Melt the butter in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles cover the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown. Continue this process until all the batter is used up.
6. Serve your pancakes warm with extra butter and your choice of syrup. Enjoy!
