The Ultimate Beef Tenderloin Noodle Casserole: An Award-Winning Recipe!
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds of beef tenderloin, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 8 ounces of noodles
- 1 cup of shredded Monterey jack cheese
- 4 eggs
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of bread
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, pan fry the beef tenderloin cubes over medium-high heat until browned on all sides. Remove from heat and set aside.
4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked noodles at the bottom.
5. Sprinkle half of the Monterey jack cheese evenly over the noodles.
6. Place the cooked beef tenderloin cubes evenly on top of the cheese layer.
7. Lay the slices of ham over the beef tenderloin.
8. Create four wells with the back of a spoon in the meat and ham layer, one for each egg.
9. Carefully crack an egg into each well.
10. Top with the remaining cooked noodles and Monterey jack cheese.
11. Place the slices of bread around the edges of the baking dish.
12. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
13. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
