Irresistible Stove-Top Apple Banana Breakfast Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 medium-sized apples
- 3 ripe bananas
Instructions
1. Peel and core the apples, then slice them into thin, even slices.
2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of cooking oil.
3. Add the apple slices to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes or until they start to soften.
4. Meanwhile, peel the bananas and slice them into thick rounds.
5. Push the apple slices to the sides of the skillet and add the banana rounds in the center.
6. Cook the bananas for about 2 minutes on each side or until they caramelize and turn golden brown.
7. Using a spatula, gently mix the caramelized bananas and cooked apples together.
8. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
9. Remove the skillet from the stove and transfer the apple banana mixture to serving plates.
