Irresistible Crispy Lamb Chop Potato Casserole
Ingredients
- 4 Lamb chops
- 2 stalks of celery, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup of butter, melted
- 1 cup of bread crumbs
- 1 head of lettuce, shredded
Instructions
1. Preheat your Kamado Joe grill to 375°F.
2. Season the lamb chops with salt and pepper, then grill for 5 minutes on each side. Set aside.
3. In a skillet, sauté the celery and onion in butter until soft.
4. Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased casserole dish, followed by the sautéed vegetables.
5. Place the grilled lamb chops on top of the vegetables.
6. Sprinkle bread crumbs over the lamb chops and drizzle with any remaining melted butter.
7. Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the bread crumbs are crispy.
9. Garnish with shredded lettuce before serving.
