Decadent Pineapple Cherry Upside Down Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 fresh pineapple, sliced
- 10-12 cherries, pitted
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Prepare yellow cake mix according to package instructions.
3. Layer pineapple slices and cherries in the bottom of a greased cake pan.
4. Pour cake batter over the fruit.
5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Let cool for 10 minutes, then invert the cake onto a serving platter.
