Comforting Chicken and Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts
 - 1 lb green beans, trimmed
 - 6 slices of American cheese

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
 - Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of oil.
 - Sear the chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
 - Remove the chicken breasts from the skillet and set them aside.
 - In the same skillet, add the trimmed green beans. Sauté them for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly tender.
 - Transfer the green beans to a baking dish and spread them evenly.
 - Place the seared chicken breasts on top of the green beans in the baking dish.
 - Cover the chicken breasts with the slices of American cheese, making sure they are fully covered.
 - Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
 - Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
 - Serve the comforting chicken and green bean casserole hot and enjoy!
