Ingredients


- 4 apples
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions


1. Start by coring the apples and cutting them in halves.
2. In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon to the pan, stirring until dissolved.
4. Place the apple halves in the pan, cut side down.
5. Cook the apples for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are caramelized and tender.
6. Remove the apples from the pan and place them on a serving plate.
7. In the same pan, add the chopped nuts and maple syrup.
8. Cook the mixture for 1-2 minutes until the nuts are toasted and the syrup is thickened.
9. Pour the nut mixture over the apples and serve hot.
