Delicious Sweet and Soy Glazed Salmon Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 4 Green onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds
- Lemon wedges
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger until the sugar has dissolved.
2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the soy sauce mixture over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, turning the salmon once.
3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the marinade, and place the fillets in the skillet, skin-side down.
4. Cook the salmon for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
5. Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
6. Return the salmon fillets to the skillet and coat them with the thickened sauce. Cook for an additional minute, or until the salmon is well glazed.
7. Transfer the glazed salmon to a serving platter and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with lemon wedges.
